Best law enforcement security hands-free light?

QuiqLite

We've been testing a couple of hands-free lights and there's one that has stuck-out head and shoulders above the rest.

The Quiqlite!

Why should you care?

Well, you follow the same mantra that we do...get the absolute best tools for the job. Something that is not going to let you down when you need it most.

We pride ourselves in lining up with the absolute best.

Here's what we were looking for with our perfect light:

Meet the family.
(Left) The Rechargeable QuiqLiteX and QuiqLiteMed (2 x CR2032 batteries).

It had to be good quality, strong and be able to last.

It had to be of a certain known standard.
The QuiqLIte is CE certified. Which means that it goes through some stringent testing to meet standards.

It needed to have powerful variable light settings and a strong manoeuvrable swivel that could look in any direction and not snap off.

The power boost options are fantastic when you need to change from an up-close admin view to something a lot stronger. The 10 minute auto shut-off feature is also handy.

It had to be small and and have easy mountable options.
It does really well because the QuiqClip (crocodile clip) can come off quickly (just slide it down) and you have a small flat unit that fits easily into a shirt pocket, or onto MOLLE.

BONUS - you get a cover that clips onto the front of the light and you have a personal safety flare. Fantastic as a beacon.

An all-round great light!

To be honest we haven't tried the QuiqMedLIte out ourselves but we've got them out with a couple of our Hospital and EMT mates. Initial reports back are that they're awesome. We'll keep you posted!
